What Causes Numbness And Fuzziness In Finger After Getting Hurt?

Hi I banged my finger (right hand next to little finger) about two weeks ago on my daughters bedroom door. It was very painful and I did worry at first that I had broke it however the pain subsided after a few minutes and I was able to move it. But now every now and then it keeps going numb with a kind of fuzzy feeling. Should I be worried?
