General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Numbness & pain on crossing the legs & pain to radiate don the leg is due to undue pressure on the Peroneal nerve a branch of the sciatic nerve.

It may occur due to obesity or Peroneal nerve damage, diabetic Neuropathy or peripheral artery disease.

Get physically examined. Get CT, MRI done to confirm compression of the nerve. Take Nerve Conduction tests to confirm the diagnosis.

In the meantime take vitamin B6, B12, Folic acid with minerals. Do regular exercises, stay away from addictions.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Nupur K, General & Family Physician
