General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

It can happen after injury and it’s due to minor nerve compression. The numbness and pain will settle by itself even without any treatment.

If symptoms persist, you can consult an orthopedician and plan for an MRI scan.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
