What Causes Numbness And Throbbing Sensation In The Legs?
I am an African American female that decided to have vein surgery on both legs to remedy the throbbing and numbness I had been experiencing for years due to my profession and the fact that I was always on my feet. I researched well and chose a board certified vascular surgeon/radiologist in my area. Over several months I had ablation of the saphenous veins and sclerotherapy on the back of my knees. 2 weeks later I could feel the back of my calves tightening as if something was popping. I now have all of these red veins covering my calves. Now mind you I wore my compression stockings as ordered. Exercised as ordered and followed up with the MD. I was reading that this complication could be caused by using to much or to strong of a sclerosing agent. My question it has been a year, is there anything that can be done? Will I be wasting my my money by have the procedure done again. Do you know of a specialist in my area Austin/San Antonio Texas that can REALLY help. Thx
