What Causes Numbness And Tingling In The Toes After An Ankle Injury?

Hi, I have tripped over a stepped stool and hit my foot and ankle. There is bruising and swelling around my ankle and some bruising over a bone in my foot (4th metatarsal??). It hurts a lot but I can walk on it. My toes feel numb and tingly, is this due to the swelling? I have it elevated and have been using ice. Thank you

Hello,

Due to injury may lead to nerve compressions like tarsal tunnel syndrome this may cause tingling and numbness.

So use tablet chymoral forte. Food elevation with cold and worm compression.

If no improvement please consult your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
