What Causes Numbness And Tingling In Tongue And Lips?

Last week my tongue got numb and tingly, and after three days it has almost returned to normal, but now my lips are starting to feel numb. I have a head cold...runny nose, headache, sore muscles, etc. Should I be worried? I've never had this happen before. I'm a 39 year old woman.
