General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

There can be various possible issues for the numbness over lips, fingers and toes as
- residual effects of previous TIA episode affecting certain nerve roots which are not totally regenerated
- associated calcium deficiency or parathyroid hormone level alteration

Regular follow up with neurologist and close follow up for need of any further evaluation is mandatory in this instance.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
