What Causes Numbness And Tingling Sensation In Hands And Legs?
I have had numb an tingly hands ,burning in my legs at the top ,feel like weight at the bottom of my legs, I drop stuff all the time ,fall over nothing , forget what im talking about at times let alone what I did yesterday some days.. I seem spaced at times an forget people are even talking to me. I have days I feel very down an days when im totally fine. if I catch my hands/wrists it can take awhile to use them again as they go tight yet numb . this has been going on over 18n months but getting worse.
Hi, I'm unable to deduce your age / sex and examine you directly, thus following is my opinion: 1. The symptoms of tingling and numbness could be because of long-standing high blood sugar, lack of vitamin B12, or chronic daily intake of alcohol. 2. Forgetfulness / rigidity could be because of early Parkinsonism. 3. Thus apart from seeing a rheumatologist, you should seek an opinion of Medical Specialist and Neurologist for a multidisciplinary approach that uses both medication and alternative or lifestyle strategies that may help decrease and improve symptoms.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Munish Sood, Ayurveda Specialist
