What Causes Numbness And Tingling Sensation In The Extremities, Insomnia, Dizziness And Headache?

I have symptoms of extreme long term insomnia, dizziness while standing, extreme fatigue relieved only by lying down, and excruciating headaches. Also numbness and tingling of extremities. I have had a brain MRI and it shows about 50 or more areas of white matter build-up. Curiously, my symptoms disappear for 2 weeks every 3 months or so, then they return. I suspect M.S. but my HMO resists that idea. What should I do?

Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

You may be suffering from chronic stress disorder or chronic fatigue syndrome or depression or inflammatory bowel problems etc.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Do regular exercise, eat green leafy vegetables and fruits.

Do yoga and meditation. If symptoms not improved you can take a supplement like folic acid and B12. Please consult your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
