Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Numbness And Tingling Sensation In The Hands?
Symptoms that I am feeling now I had some carpal tunnel shots down on me last month it was painful this time a feeling that I had not experienced before lately my hands have been numb with tingling when they usually do last for about maybe 5 months For the past couple of days it feels as if my hands and my arms are on fire especially the veins when I try to stop doing what I need to do it feels as if I get very dizzy very light-headed, nauseated with a stomach ache.
I think you may have done some hard work as per my knowledge tingling sensation may be the result of compression of nerves at neck region or axillary region from where brachial plexus arises, there are some group of diseases placed under diagnosis cervical outlet syndrome.
I advise you to get yourself checked by Orthopedician for accurate diagnosis till then you can have the following treatment:
1. Wear a soft cervical collar.
2. Avoid heavy work involving right side neck and shoulder.
3. Massage with Arthrill liniment.
4. Take some analgesics + muscle relaxant like Zerodol MR.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Ivan R. Rommstein,
General Surgeon
