I have been using ultravate ointment on my hands and fingers for many years now due to eczema. I have recently developed numbness and tingling on my left hand which I ve used it the most. I have some numbness and tingling in my right hand as well but nothing like the left hand. I ve been checked out by my doctor and all is good. Blood pressure normal. Doctors say it s carpel tunnel but I have no pain. I googled side effects of ultravate ointment and one side effect is numbness and tingling. My question is.....if I stop using the ointment will the numbness stop? I do have severe spinal stinosis but they said it wouldn t effect my hands.
