What Causes Numbness And Tingling Sensation In The Left Hand?
Hello - I am in my mid fifties and in good shape. I have been getting some numbness and tingling in my left hand/fingers and extending up into my forearm. It comes and goes as far as severity but is pretty much a constant. This has been going on for about six months now. Is there some simple answer I am missing?
Tingling and numbness sensation what you are experiencing could be due to following reasons. 1. Calcium deficiency 2. Certain vitamins of B-complex deficiency. 3. Cervical disc compression.
Kindly take calcium supplements along with vitamin B complex containing vitamin B12, thiamine and pantothenic acid every day for a month. If the symptoms does not subside or get better, you need to take x-ray of the neck region and consult orthopedic surgeon for clinical evaluation and appropriate management. In case there no evidence of cervical disc compression, then you need to consult Physician for cardiac evaluation and appropriate management.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Ashakiran S
