What Causes Numbness And Tingling Sensation In The Lower Jaw Line, Neck And Hands?
My question is I have numbness and tingling in my lower jaw line both sides only on my left side neck and arm both hands and fingers tingling about 30 minutes ago BP left arm 167/75 Rt 170/74 pulse 60 I take Norvasc 5 mg bid and Corgard 40 mg qd I have very small blood vessels in my heart. Headache been sick with fever chills my grandsons hands foot and mouth fever of 104 feeling better from this now I have these symptoms what should I do just hang in there the boys are also feeling better but we re still contagious?
This may be sign of neuralgia usually so called trigeminal neuralgia and you should do neurological work up for further management. It happens when facial nerves become inflamed or irritate by various mechanical or metabolic issues. It may be lack of vitamin B12 or calcium so you should check these markers in blood too.
