What Causes Numbness And Tingling Sensation In The Right Hand?
Question. I have had trouble with my right hand(numbness & tingling) since June 2016. I was just diagnosed with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (had EMG), & was told I need surgery soon. My home is in Central NY & I m in Fla now. We hope to be driving home the end of April (1200 miles). If I have the surgery in 2 to 3 weeks from now, would I be able to share driving home with my husband? Or would I be able to wait till May/June to have surgery at home? Today is March 25th. Consult a neurologist and get evaluated.
Detailed evaluation including nerve conduction study and MRI is required for further assessment.
As of now, vitamin B supplements can be taken for symptomatic relief.
