What Causes Numbness And Tingling Sensation In The Right Hand?

I wake up about 4 AM with numbness and tingling in my right arm and hand. I have slept on that side but even after turning over it still is numb and tingles for a while--finally goes away but returns after I wake up even with out having slept on it--5 months ago I broke my right ankle and Tibia bone in 3 places-it is completely healed now/as per my surgeon--but just wondering if that has anything to do with my circulation problems--my blood pressure has been 140-156/ 85/93 and yes I do take blood pressure medicine in the AM--

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It is due to cervical strain. Please get X-ray cervical spine AP and lateral view done. Take any neurotonic containing methylcobalamin. Keep your blood pressure below 140/90. I don't think it is related to circulation or past tibia injury.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
