What Causes Numbness And Tingling Sensation In The Tongue?

i was outside and somebody was putting down black mulch. My tongue is numb and tingling. I have saliva build up. Is there something in the black mulch that I'm allergic to? This never happened to me with the brown mulch. I took some Benadryl 2. I'm an adult can I take another one. I took them 15 mins. ago.

As per your complain it seems that numbness and tingling sensation of tongue and saliva build up can be due to allergic reaction..
If it happened after exposure to Black Mulch then it can be a cause while it can be also due to causes like any allergic foods or medications

A you have taken benadryl just 15 minutes back, you do not need to take another one right now but in case if there is exaggeration of symptoms like swelling of tongue, difficulty in swallowing or breathing then you should immediately consult an Emergency room and get evaluated so that they can give you steroid injection to reduce the symptoms quickly..

Along with it you will also be advised anti-allergics like Allegra to relieve the symptoms completely..

Get a blood test done to get ruled out for the exact cause of allergy and will be treated accordingly..
