What Causes Numbness Between The Left Thigh And The Abdomen?

I have numbness on the front of my left thigh that has spread to the left side of my stomach. This came on about 6 days ago after a three hour plane flight. I have been trying stretching, massages and applying heat. Since try those things together I've seen no change , worse or better. What is the best course of action?
