What Causes Numbness From The Shin To The Foot?

I am getting numb feeling down my left shin going down to the toes of that foot. If I bend my foot downward it feels like it pulls in the top of my foot. I do have a lower spinal injury. I am also getting feeelings like things are crawling up ad down my left leg and foot. Would all these feelings be caused of my spinal injury?
