What Causes Numbness In Arms And Legs On The Right Side Of Body?
Hi, I am a 24 yr old female. I have been having issues with numbness in my arms and hands more on my rights side then the left. I am hypoglycemic and I have diabeties on both sides of my Family including my Father. I am a bit over weight and have been trying to loose weight. I had four children in five years so its not comming of very fast or at least not as fast as it came on. Honestly I am 5 6 and 264 lbs with a BMI of 42.6. Could it be my weight causing it? Should I go get check to see if its diebeties? I didnt have any Issues with diebeties while pregnant, But they knew I was hypoglycemic so they had me do the three hour test to make sure. Could it be diebeties or something else?
Hi... you have a strong family history of diabetes with obesity.surely you have to check your blood sugar values. But your symptoms are more likely due to Carpal Tunnel Syndrome(it's nothing but compression of of median nerve at the level of wrist). Its very common in hypothyroid persons.Hence you have to get your Thyroid profile done. But for the confirmation carpal tunnel syndrome ,there is a test called Nerve Conduction Study. This test will give a picture of speed of impulses passing through the nerve. So we will get an idea about what is going on.Early stages of Carpal tunnel requires only specific exercises and medical management.. I hope my answer helped you....
