What Causes Numbness In Body?

hello I am male 42 married lawyer Pakistan living in less moisturized atmosphere, weight 110 height 6.2 ft. I have a problem that my body remains numb if I do not walk at least one hour daily. Some medicines like disprin or loprin give me some relief. I have tried a number of local remedies like eating onion, honey, milk, date and some times the medicines given by doctors. I have no other disease but still the numbness subsists. May I have an advice?

Hi,

Numbness in the body can be caused by a variety of factors, including poor circulation, nerve damage, vitamin deficiencies, certain medications, and underlying health conditions such as diabetes or multiple sclerosis. Given your age, physical characteristics, and lifestyle factors, it is possible that poor circulation may be the cause of your numbness. Living in a less moisturized atmosphere and not exercising regularly can both contribute to poor circulation. Additionally, certain medications can cause numbness as a side effect.

I would recommend that you speak with a healthcare professional to determine the underlying cause of your numbness. They may perform a physical examination, run some tests, or refer you to a specialist to investigate further.

In the meantime, it may be beneficial to make some lifestyle changes to improve your circulation, such as incorporating regular exercise into your routine, staying hydrated, and avoiding smoking or excessive alcohol consumption. Additionally, some home remedies, such as soaking in warm water or using compression stockings, may provide temporary relief. However, it is important to consult with a healthcare professional before trying any new treatments.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Hi,

Numbness in the body can be caused by several factors, including nerve damage, poor blood circulation, vitamin deficiencies, and underlying medical conditions such as diabetes or multiple sclerosis. Given your history of numbness and the fact that you find relief from walking and certain medications, your symptoms may be related to poor circulation or nerve-related issues.

It is important to discuss your symptoms with your healthcare provider, who can perform a thorough evaluation to determine the underlying cause of your numbness and recommend appropriate treatment options. This may include diagnostic tests such as blood work or imaging studies to visualize the affected area and identify any potential issues.

In the meantime, it may be helpful to prioritize self-care and lifestyle modifications that can help improve circulation and reduce your symptoms. This may include regular exercise, maintaining a healthy weight, avoiding tobacco and excessive alcohol consumption, and eating a healthy diet rich in vitamins and nutrients. It may also be helpful to discuss any medication use with your healthcare provider to ensure that your medications are not contributing to your symptoms.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
