Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have numbness in ear with pressure feeling because sometimes upper respiratory track infection ,when left untreated spread to ear through Eustachian tube and infect ear , which can cause pain and pressure in ear . Numbness can occur due to nerve dysfunction or infection . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may order test like throat swab test , viral culture test or blood tests . Doctor may examine with otoscope . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics ( amoxicillin ) along with anti inflammatory. If numbness or chemical test doesn't improve then consult neurologist .

Hope your concern has been resolved.
