General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The neurological signs you explain with numbness and shooting pains are so spread and are less likely to be due to a real neurological condition.

Having proper neurological examination by your doctor will determine if you have real nerve issues as the doctor can do tests to check their function and if the examination is normal then very likely the symptoms are not related to nerves, brain or spine.

In this case other conditions like somatization (stress that causes physical symptoms like pain and other), fibromyalgia is another possible condition.

If the doctor finds neurological signs or other signs while examining you he might ask for other tests to determine the diagnosis.

So please see your doctor to have a proper examination and determine the cause of your symptoms and have the right treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
