What Causes Numbness In Fingers Along With Muscular Pain In Forearm?

In my left arm I frequently have my little finger and ring finger fall asleep. Recently my muscles in the forearm (lower side) now hurts. Does not hurt to touch, just hurts when I move it. I m thinking nerve damage, could that be correct, what else could it be?

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Numbness (falling asleep) of little and ring finger is suggestive of compression of ulnar nerve in the forearm (ulnar nerve supplies the little and ring finger).
Pain in muscles of forearm on moving is suggestive of muscular spam, muscle injury, muscle inflammation etc.
Is there history of trauma or injury to muscles in forearm?
The symptoms do not suggest nerve injury or damage.
Numbness of little and ring finger can occur i healthy person when the ulnar nerve is compressed on forearm due to any cause thus it does not suggest any disease state.
Pain in forearm can be relieved by hot fomentation and muscle relaxant ointment.
I suggest you to consult your primary healthcare provider for clinical assessment and prescription of medicine.

Thanks and take care
