What Causes Numbness In Fingers With Difficulty In Finding Pulse In Right Wrist?

Hi , my fingers specially last two fingers specially the little finger gets numb and seen doctor they cannot feel my pulse in right arm and told me i have to see a vascular surgeon, coz they cannot read my pulse and BP of my right hand, it is there but very feeble , i want to know what is the problem i am having , is it bad sign , what are the symtoms of this problem if i dont see the doctor on the right time coz this problem i have having since 8 years ,and i did not take it seriourly
