Hello,
I can understand your concern and it is a pleasure to give you some more information.
I would like to inform you that hypothyroidism in general is a chronic disease and i can not understand why did you stop the treatment?
Regarding your concern, hypothyroidism may cause swelling of the hands which may compress the nerves and as a result you feel numbness.
I would suggest you to restart the treatment of the hypothyroidism, and if after 2 months the symptoms persist, you should consult a neurologist to rule out a tunnel carpal syndrome.
Please do not hesitate for further questions.
Wishing you good health.

Best regards,
Dr.Mirjeta
