What Causes Numbness In Hands And Face When Smoking Marijuana?

When i was smoking marijuana back in 8th grade im a graduate now, My whole hand got numb so i thought to myself "Well if my hands numb, and i touch my face, will my face get numb?" as i touched my face, my whole face got numb, this was in school, and i was wondering, Why did this happen?

The most probable explanation for these symptoms is that these were due to the psychotropic effects of cannabis. Cannabis is well-known to cause alterations in both perception and thought. This could have caused the abnormal sensations that you had.
