Having Migraine for more than 3 years. Having MGR 5mg for last 2.5 years. But occurs frequent attacks of pain and giddiness. Now I am on Sibelium 20 and Inderal 20. Pain releived considerabily, but feels a numbness at the back of the head. Is it because of this new combination ? Do you think, that this combination will work better and safer ?

Dear
Thanks for contacting with your health concern and after reviewing your history I'm if the following opinion:

1. Since migraine attacks were frequent one can safely switch over to Sibelium (flunarizine) and Inderal (propranolol) which are used in prophylaxis of migraine but one should also keep following things in mind:

i. Avoid precipitating factors like: sleeping late, tension, starvation, cheese, chocolates, tomato, alcohol.
ii. Inderal side effects are dizziness, light headedness, syncope, giddiness so it can be the cause.
iii. One has to also check with neck movements (for cervical spondylitis), cochlear symptoms (deafness/tinnitus), vestibular symptoms ( vertigo/nystagmus) to exclude cause of numbness at back of head.
. Take calcium rich diet
