What Causes Numbness In Left Arm After Gallbladder Removal?

I had my gallbladder removed on Thursday. I am 150 lbs 5 7 28 yr old female with no prior abdominal surgeries. Ever since my surgery, my left arm frequently falls asleep. I am not lying on it. Is this a cause for concern? Medications: Loestrin Fe24 (birth control pill)

Hi,

There is no relation between your surgery and your left arm, you should ask about nerve conduction test to see if there is any problem with it.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Salah Saad Shoman, Internal Medicine Specialist
