What Causes Numbness In Left Side Of Face?

my husband cleaned his left ear and might overdone it. after 2 days he had a problem sleeping. he massaged his left neck and head. the next day he woke up and notice that his left face was numb.. can you help with this?what can possibly be the first aid for this? thank you!

He might be having Bells palsy or facial palsy on the left side. Is the weather cold in the area you live in? It is common in cold areas. You need to consult your Doctor as you might be required to start some medications like steroids. But do not worry it should resolve with treatment.
