What Causes Numbness In Leg After Nerve Blocking Procedure?

i had a ACL reconstrutive surgury on my knee yesterday and a had the nerve blocking precdure at the same time while under a generel anathesetic and the skin in the lower part of my leg is still really numb now some 30 hours after the op.... is this normal??? craig
