Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain you have got a nerve pricked during the pricking of the needle for injection and the nerve injury has led severe pain and the numbness is also caused due to nerve injury at the injection site..
These type of nerve injuries are mostly reversible and there is complete recovery with regain of sensation in the injured area but the exact time duration of recovery is unpredictable and can take from months to even years to recover completely
You can de warm compresses over the region and should wait and watch and in case if you do not find any improvement in a few more months you can consult a Neurophysician..

Hope this information helps..
