What Causes Numbness In Lower Part Of Body?

I am numb from the waste down for two weeks now, it happend after I was stepping up and down off a chair repeatedly. The numbness started in my feet and worked its way up. I am 40 and overweight. I have some pain in the lowest part of my back and my entire uterus and buttocks are numb as well. I am going to the Dr today.

Hi ma'am.

Please request your doctor for an MRI of the spine at your earliest convenience as this will provide us with the answers we need. In the meantime, please work towards losing weight and try and move your body and lower limbs as much as possible. Go on a good and health diet, and also initiate vitamin B complex at the earliest; I am suspecting some abnormality that lies in your spine.
