What Causes Numbness In My Body When I Get Angry?

I was wondering why is it that when I get angry, I go all numb and lose my emotions? I feel very depersonalized when I am angered. Sometimes this feeling can last from minutes to days. When I go numb, I have been told I look as if I am zoning out. What s wrong with me??

Numbness in the body due to anger can occur due to acute stress, anxiety or panic attacks. Medical conditions like MS & Diabetes can also cause numbness.

Side effects of some medications or drugs can also cause numbness of the body.

Anger is a medical condition caused by depression, addictions, anxiety or mental health problems.

You are suggested to get clinically examined by a GP for medical conditions that may cause such symptoms & a psychiatrist to assess your mental health problems.

Your treatment will depend upon the pathology detected. You will require to go through blood tests, Urinalysis & Imaging tests. Get treated at the earliest.
