All medications have potential side effects that may or may not occur.
Verapamil can rarely cause abnormal sensations , this can occur in up to 1% of persons.
It is not normally associated with
chest pain however so you may want to see your doctor to determine the cause of the chest pain.
Chest pain can originate from any structure in the chest from the skin inwards, this includes the skin,
esophagus, lungs, muscles, nerves,bones and heart.
Based on the history of all of your symptoms , examination findings and any necessary investigations, your doctor may be able to find the cause.
