What Causes Numbness In The Buttock?

hi dr my mum is experiencing numbness in her right buttock, her lower Back all the way to her foot. She says it hurts to touch her skin, she says it feels very sensitive, she can't walk on it. She said it feels like a burning sensation all through her leg. It hurts to sit or lie down.
