What Causes Numbness In The Chest And Jerking Sensation In The Arms?

right arm only i was jerked in a while my right arm was raised half way up and my neck jerked the oppisite way. above my right breast my chest feels numb at times when i touch my cell phone my finger tips feel numb. my shoulder blades throb and the front of my shoulder feels like i m being stabbed. my fingers lock up i cant rest my arm it is sensative to touch the front of my neck has a soft patch like a ball of tissue in it. my arm muscles are always sore. experiencing vertgo

Hello,

The symptoms you described are clearly related to cervical spine issues. Most probably it is a herniation of cervical discs.

You should do an x_ray of the cervical spine or better an MRI. Meanwhile, try to have rest. Use ice compresses. You can use Advil or naproxen for pain relief and inflammation.
