What Causes Numbness In The Feet After Sitting For Sometime?

My feet, especially left foot is feeling like it s asleep after I sit for a tv show. It has been a gradual progression from a feeling under my toes to now most all of my foot. My right foot is not as bad, but is following in the same pattern. It has been a slow progression (years)

Hi,

You seem to have pressure on your nerve supplying feet at lumbar spine/hip/or local level by edema of feet pressing peripheral nerves.

Start doing extension exercises for legs & limber spine, take care of dependent edema on feet (if there) with doctor's help/start taking B12 supplements. Consult orthopedic surgeon if symptoms do not get relieved.
