What Causes Numbness In The Foot While Having Spinal Stenosis?
I have spinal stenosis and 25 years ago the doctor wanted to operate.now I have numbness in my right foot. there is not a lot of pain, and I have no problem walking. can this numbness lead to be being unable to walk at all? What kind of treatment can I do to resolve this. I am absolutely opposed to surgery. thank you
Hi and welcome to HCM. Well, if theer is clear compression of spinal cord in spinal canal then the surgery is the only possible option for permanent solution. Everything else such as medications, physical therapy or injections may be just temporary cure and it will not solve the cause of symptoms. Surgery should be done in early phase to prevent progression of the disorder. Wish you good health.
