What Causes Numbness In The Hand Post A TB Test?

Why does my hand go numb randomly after receiving my tb test? It s been more than 3 weeks since my test. My mom mentioned that they did not do it in the correct spot and could have hit a nerve. At random times I have a to tingling sensation in my pinky and ring finger that goes all the way up my arm.

Hello,

The numbness after the TB test can be related to a side effect of the injection. I suggest using cold compresses for local application. I also recommend to use anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the symptoms. The symptoms will relieve gradually on it's own.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
