What Causes Numbness In The Hand While Sleeping?

Sir i am having hand numbness while sleeping.I also met ortho doctor and had checked my nerve test.It shows that suggestive of right ulnar mononeuropathy.Ortho doctor told me that try to avoid hand bend while sleeping.it will get solved.but still i am having numness.What is your opinion.
