What Causes Numbness In The Hands And Feet While Suffering From ITP?

I am 53 and just recently had stent placement on the 1st of this month, just shy of 2 weeks ago, ( I also have been long diagnosed with having chronic ITP-Idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura) I have struggled with this bleeding, blood platelet disorder all my life and now this happens, totally in difference of each other. So now I am just recently today having numbness in my hands and feet....... Why?
