What Causes Numbness In The Hands And Lips?

Occasionally, I experience slight numbness in the heel of my left palm and lower left lip. I had an ultrasound of my carotid artery and something similar on my chest. Both were fine. I take a low dosage blood pressure medication and an aspirin a day plus vitamins.

Hello,

Numbness may be due to nerve compression may be due to pressure or neuropathy or electrolyte imbalance or anaemia or anxiety neurosis etc.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Avoid spicy food and caffeinated drinks.

Get it done serum b12 level, blood sugar levels, serum electrolytes level etc. Please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
