What Causes Numbness In The Left Arm, Headache And Heartburn In A 53-year-old?

my wife who is 53 years old experienced some numbness in her left arm, a dull headache, heartburn, and a general feeling of not being herself. we went to the emergency room and the blood work and EKG came back normal so the E.R. doctor advised that he was 97% sure it was not her heart. She had an episode of what she called emotional compassion at her work, as she is a kennel manager and has to euthanize animals on occasion. She is stating that she is feeling almost emotionally cold to other workers, but not family or friends.
