What Causes Numbness In The Left Thumb After A Tubal Reversal Surgery?
Greetings, i had a tubal reversal surgery today and was under general anesthesia. When i woke up i had numbness in my left thumb, index, middle and half of my ring fingers. I have mobility, just numbness. I told my nurse who said it was probably due to the anesthesia or having my arm flexed out for 6 hours during the procedure. Its been hours now and still no change. Could this still be because of the positioning or anesthesia? Is this something more serious? It is also my IV arm, could the nurse have damaged a nerve?
