What Causes Numbness In The Lips Followed By Imbalance Issues?

My husband is 68 years old. Yesterday he became unsteady on his feet and seemed to have trouble standing up. The symptoms are still prevalent today and he told me that his lip becomes numb right before the imbalance happens. He is on medication for high blood pressure and high cholestrol. He is a heavy smoker, a pack a day. Has he suffered a mini stroke. Myself and the children have noticed that his reasoning and thought process has changed over the last several months.

It could be a stroke. Get it diagnosed with a specialist and treat him accordingly. He could recover many of the things with physiotherapy, care and proper observation and control of his cholesterol and blood pressure levels. You should immediately see a doctor in person.
