What Causes Numbness In The Lower Leg While On Metformin?
I am 45 yr old. I ve had blood sugars in the low 200 s for around 6 months with high triglycerides. I m on Metformin and two blood pressure medicines. Yesterday, I woke with my right leg below the knee numbness. Also, I smell a sewer smell on my skin that noone else smells.

The symptoms in the leg you have are mostly due to diabetic neuropathy while the bad odor is likely to be due to increased sweating following overweight as a consequence of high triglycerides.
Nothing can be attributed to Metformin side effect. You need good diabetic control to reduces body weight (along with diet control & exercises).
