Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have problems with neuropathy due to osteonecrosis in my lumbar spine. In the past two weeks I have started experiencing a new symptom that I m not sure if it is neuropathy or not. I ve never had anything quite like this. Most of my neuropathy is/has been in my left leg from knee to toe, and also some numbness in my right foot. Now all of a sudden I have been getting a very uncomfortable pinching on my right side, just to the back, between my rib cage and my waist. It s a very sharp almost stabbing or pinching feeling. It does not feel like its very deep. I take medications for neuropathy and have been for about 5 years.
