What Causes Numbness In The Right Hand?

Good afternoon, my 94 year old aunt who lives in Florida has numbness in her right hand. She went to her primary doctor who simply said it is OLD AGE??? That doesn t sound right to me. What type of doctor should my aunt go to??? I, unfortunately, live in NJ and not happy at all with her primary doctor response.
