Hi,

Numbness in the leg is commonly caused as an after effect of slipped disc, some trauma, nerve compression, if you have a history of diabetes it can be due to developing peripheral artery disease.

Do not strain your leg unnecessarily. Avoid alcohol or addictions if any, do not take wrong postures while sitting or standing, maintain your blood sugar levels.

You are recommended to get physically examined & get Nerve Conduction tests done to evaluate the factor causing such discomfort. In the mean time take Vitamin B6, B9, B12 along with folic acid, minerals like zinc, magnesium.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K,
