What Causes Numbness In The Right Leg?

I am a very healthy 63 year old female with no health or weight issues. I am very active (walk several miles a day, kayak, garden). Have had numbness in my right leg since my twin pregnancy 23 years ago that comes and goes. Since this April, I have had numbness on the right side (foot, leg, arm, mouth, nostril, eye) that also comes and goes and am now noticing some lower back numbness. No pain anywhere, just numb. Had a brain MRI and ultrasound of carotid artery through a neurologist. All fine. I do not need treatment, just want to know what this is. Numbness seems to be daily now.

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Numbness in right leg with numbness in back are mostly seen with lumber vertebral problem.
You should consult orthopedic doctor and get done clinical examination of lower spine and MRI of spine to rule out nerve compression, partial disc prolapse and spondylitis.
You will need warm water pad application on lower back, lumber belt, pregabalin and vitamin B12 tablets.
Avoid heavyweight lifting and strenuous exercise. Avoid bending.
Don't worry, you will be alright.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
